As a United fan, it does pain me to admit that Sh!tty look more likely to finish top this year.
United does have a tougher end of season run of games. Spurs tomorrow could be tricky.
It'd be boring if we won it every year. We'll give Sh!tty their trophy this year, then take it back next.

We [Man City that is] should get rid of him.
We don't need him
We dont't want him
We don't like him
He's a perfect buy for the Rags - the Derby's would be electric!

I'm still undecided about which would be more unbearable, the smugness of the City fans should they win it, or the constant whinging about bent officials should they throw it away
I didn't used to mind City fans, but over the past couple of years all the ones I know have proven to be just as big a bunch of obnoxious w@nkers as their neighbours, turns out the only difference is the shirt colour

The worst thing is, back a few years when Ashley Cole took up the diving, he was roundly criticised by all and sundry for it. These days it seems to just be accepted. What happened for people to accept it as a part of the game? Sad.

How true. When Blackburn won the Prem back in the day, it spelt the end for football as we knew it.

The SAME player for Sheff Utd has done the SAME trick on us TWICE this year, home and away.
Goes in for a 50/50 challenge, goes down screaming and writhing, ref instantly red-cards our player, he then gets up and runs off.
Cheating SCUM.

I am surprised AVB has lasted this long, that is now officially the worst job in football. My opinion is that the players freewheeled to get him the sack.

Yeah, but that Blackburn team was a product of the new 'buy yourself a title' Premiership. No matter how much I can't stand United either, I can now see they tried to do it the right way with a mixture of homegrown youth and some money thrown in for good measure, but with a strict wage structure(then, not now!!).

To be honest with you, its still too early to call, there are 10+ games left, Arsenal have been in the same position where they were well out in front with 6 games left and lost out to Man U, it will be a close call but I dont think City will do it, actually im pretty sure they wont.

Blackburn still got there with some fairly journey-men players or cheap players like Colin Hendry who City got rid of a few years eariler, and Mark Atkins, Tim Sherwood etc, hardly 'Gallacticos'. They spent big on Shearer, how how much was Sutton? Not that much I think?
Them were the days.

I think Lentini was the world record transfer at that time, but that was a bit of money laundering and a bit of we will buy him so no-one else can.

Same as Chelsea. They were buying any player United showed any interest in, just to stick them on the bench. City have done the exact same thing for the last 2 years.
I would expect a few players to want to leave City by the end of the season. Yes they're on £130,000 a week, but they ain't playing. Some are obviously happy with that, but others won't.

Having been shown a Chelsea players contract (someone who played for them a couple of seasons ago) you wouldn't - I don't think - be surprised that they throw stupid amounts of cash at the players to succeed. The individual player bonus for winning the Champions League especially is bordering on criminal....shows how important it is for RA to win it.....and yet he hasn't.

Then he went to Chelsea and joined a long list of failed strikers
On the scale of CFC striking failures where does Torres come compared to Robert Fleck ???
