so in otherwords, footballers are above the rules? is it just me or does this show what's wrong with footballers now adays? they seemed to think that because they play football they are or should be untouchable.

Last 10-15 years imo since the silly money arrived, the new style owners dont really give a toss either as long as the revenue and trophies keep coming in.

It's all double standards be it the managers or the players, now the fans aren't fighting each other so frequently the attention turns to the players lol.

Did you see Avram's 2 match ban for comments about the ref ?, I think they were far worse than anything Fergie said but because it was Avram it got 2 column inches in the paper done and dusted. You play for United, the biggest club on the planet everything will be magnified, seems the punishments reflect that.
