Lad at work had a couple of tickets for all the group stages and one of the semis, £80 group stages matches and £120 semis... nearly snapped his hand off!
... until a quick check on lastminute.com put me back in my place. £900 for a return flight, no thank you! Ash cloud would have just raised its ugly mug and spoilt it for me anyways!

Tell your misses to bring some earplugs. There is a trumpet here called a 'vuvuzela' that emits an ear piercing noise guaranteed to give you a headache within 15 minutes and ruin the game for you. FIFA initaially banned these but then reversed their decision (which I think was a huge mistake). I have a feeling they may reinstate their decision after a few games though.

Yeah she's hoping they are banned before she gets there. They said they'd ban them if they were used as missiles so hopefully somebody takes it upon themselves to chuck a few on the pitch.
