First year I WON'T be supporting England.
For the world cup. Saw them win it in 1966 on a TV in Spain in b&w, surrounded by Germans, in a bar. Fond memories. The Germans bought us drinks for the rest of the evening. I was only a lad and ended up sick.
Followed England and suported them every year so far since, plus in European Championships etc, through mostly thin times.
But not this year.
This year I CANNOT bring myself to support them, and risk having to watch the scum that is John Terry, or the drug-test avoiding n*bber that is Rio Ferdinand, lifting the trophy And thus being spoken of in the same sentence as the lads form 1966
Come on whoever plays England!

Although I am not a fan of some of the players they have my support.
I was minus 4 in 1966 therfore i have nowt to say about them apart from Roger Hunt was the best England player at the time and Sir Alf relied upon him heavily. Come on the proper REDS!!!!!

Stop Press....Capello calls time on Englands 2010 World Cup entry after superfan alcazar revokes his support for the squad....
Get a grip man. You honestly think that all of the '66 squad (and every squad since) have been whiter than white?

NO, I don't expect that any normal person is whiter than white.
But nor do I expect any NORMAL person, and especially the England captain, as was, to lop his todger out on a disco dancefloor and p*ss everywhere, in front of all.
Scum.
The thought of him, mentioned in the same breath as the greats of 66 turns my stomach.
Come on USA..........
