Melbourne Storm in The Aussie Rugby League, the best tea here for the past 5 seasons, a bit of a machine with a lot of the best players.

Basically broke the rules on the salary cap over the past 5 years

They have had all points earned this season taken away
Three minor Premierships taken back
Two grand finals taken back
Will not play for anymore points this season (which only started 6 weeks ago)

Eufa take note, this how you deal with cheating, there ill be no appeal no reduction of penalties

For Aus this is the equivilent of United having their last 5 years binned, the dont **** about !

Don't forget the enforced relegations of Juventus & Marseille due to match fixing allegations. They were very long-term punishments.

A certain Sr Capello was in charge of Italian Champions Juventus at that time . They also had two league titles stripped and a 9 point deduction starting in Serie B. Other implicated teams were also deducted points.

Does this Melbourne team also get relegated with zero points and face at least a year in the wilderness trying to get back? Otherwise it's not such a long-term penalty.

That's disgraceful, he should be stripped of the managers armband!

Juventus appealed along with every other club involved and had their sentences reduced on appeal and they didn't lose all their star players I think 2 left the majority stayed.
