Championship on BBC1
I didn't know until today that BBC1 was doing a once-per-month 5.30pm Saturday live match.
They "kick-off" (did you spot that?
) this Saturday with West Brom - Newcastle.
Shearer's supposed to be there, but only in the Match of the Day box!
Joe Kinnear's apparently just turned down a 2 year contract with Newcastle. It must have really pleased Shearer to know that Mike Ashley was trying to replace him behind his back.
Amazing to think that they kick-off in 3 days and there's no-one installed. Hope they go down again!
