How come the Scottish footballing authorities are so dead against fielding a British football team at the 2012 Olympics due to a fear of losing their autonomy/identity, and yet there is now a hair-brained scheme being banded about by Bolton's headcase Chairman to include the Old Firm in a revised two-tier English Premier League?

The worrying thing is that they apparently only need the signatures of 14 of the 20 Premier League chairmen to pass this through if it is accepted at the Premier League AGM in June! We all know that these guys only ever think about their bank balances, so Christ knows what might happen!

Let's hope that Bolton somehow contrive to get relegated this season, so that Gartside loses his Premier League status!
