South would win easily mainly because the northern managers seem to have a problem releasing their players for any other matches

This is a teeny-weeny bit biased towards Man City of all teams as far as I can see. Richards, Dunne, Elano & Robinho in the North and even ex-City Corluka in the South.

Do the rest of us really think think that 4 of the 11 best players in Northern England play for Man City? Maybe after the transfer window in January 2009, when all 11 will be at Man City, but not just yet!
