Nigel Cassidy, R.I.P.
Just heard that Nigel Cassidy died monday. He was only 62.
He will be remembered by Scunny fans the world over as one of the guys who scored to give Scunny a win at Hillsborough in the FA Cup round 4 in 1969-70. We were division 4, they were Division 1!!!
A truly nice guy, and a demon header of the ball, his Pancho Gonzalez moustache was the envy of many a schoolboy fan
Remembered with fondness. R.I P. Nigel.
