Strawberry nose blamed ther ref too . . .
Ferguson added: "Keith Hackett (general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Board) has got a lot to answer for in this country. He's not doing his job properly.
"He should be assessed like everyone else is assessed. I'm assessed as a manager, the players are assessed, referees are assessed. Martin Atkinson will referee next week, no problem. But his performance today should not be accepted in our game."
"The game was decided by the decision not to give us a penalty. They had great confidence to hang on knowing the referee was on their side."

So your saying it wasnt a blatant penalty on Ronaldo? Other than that it was just one of those days where things were just not mean to be. But hey at least we looked like we could have won it unlike Chelsea

Not even your silver tongue can talk that one round Paulo
Some times things just dont go your way inc the woodwork, penalties not being given and your goalie getting a red card (rooney was pretty much on the goal line). I can accept that. Whereas Chelsea pld sh*te (no change there then) and for once didnt manage to grind out a boring 1-0 win

BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Man Utd | Man Utd duo must explain comments
kellogs queerio and taggart got some explaining to do.
On a serious note, what does Queer want, our game to have continential refs? we would be stopping every 30 seconds.

typical sc*m fans, moan when things dont go your way. care to remember the ref that played 7 minutes until Bruce scored twice ? or Mike Riley who always gave you pens at the toilet ?

nah, might be your thing, but I'm getting through keyboards instead !
as I said at start of season Torres will be real deal, here's 30+ goals a season (no pens or free kicks!)

What's the fascination about pens and free kicks? pens I could possibly understand but there's a big skill in scoring free kicks. Is Torres not any good at them? I guess he needs defences to roll over and die to get his tally up.
