"He should be assessed like everyone else is assessed. I'm assessed as a manager, the players are assessed, referees are assessed. Martin Atkinson will referee next week, no problem. But his performance today should not be accepted in our game."

So your saying it wasnt a blatant penalty on Ronaldo? Other than that it was just one of those days where things were just not mean to be. But hey at least we looked like we could have won it unlike Chelsea

Some times things just dont go your way inc the woodwork, penalties not being given and your goalie getting a red card (rooney was pretty much on the goal line). I can accept that. Whereas Chelsea pld sh*te (no change there then) and for once didnt manage to grind out a boring 1-0 win

typical sc*m fans, moan when things dont go your way. care to remember the ref that played 7 minutes until Bruce scored twice ? or Mike Riley who always gave you pens at the toilet ?

What's the fascination about pens and free kicks? pens I could possibly understand but there's a big skill in scoring free kicks. Is Torres not any good at them? I guess he needs defences to roll over and die to get his tally up.
