Would have liked to have seen us try for Alves but 15 mill a bit too much for some one yet unproven at prem league level. Could end up being another flop like Macaroni or what ever that Italian guy was called.

Be interested too see if you do finally sign him, only a few days left and they still have too try get him a work permit. Apparently his 8 B team brasil games doesnt qualify him for one which is why allot of other clubs were put off.

If he does come good be interesting too see how long you can hold onto him. Come the summer dont look like gonna have much of a team with Woodgate, Downing, Huth, schwartzer, wheater etc all yet too sign contracts.

To those who dont know who he is, hes a Brazilian that plays for Heerenveen in Holand. Scores 8 goals in one game earlier in the season.
