Football to adopt some of Rugby's rules?
BBC SPORT | Football | FA to tackle players' behaviour
In particular, only the captain speaking with the Referee. Ok it's being piloted at "grass roots" level and not at the top so we can't expect to see any changes soon.
Is this a move in the right direction? I think so, I find it sickening to see referees surrounded by players berating decisions.

Refereeing is ridiculous in the lower leagues, can you believe I got booked on Sunday for saying to my centre back 'he's not interested, he'd rather go home and have a cup of tea' because about 5 of us all complained the ball was flat and he wasnt doing anything about it and completely ignoring what we had to say. Power trip or what, I I said if you are going to book me then at least give you a f**king reason at which point he blew his whistle and said right, abusive language and whipped the cards right out. Felt like lamping him one. Ar$ehole
