Who was the Spurs fan doubting my comments about their defending and where they'd be compared to Arsenal? They looked like they'd won the league not moved up to 3rd bottom

After that display, I really do hope Robinson never plays for England again. The guy has lost it. For the neutral it was an amazing match.

Well I'm well used to my team going in the lead by a few goals then end up getting beaten, I'm a Spurs fan! I read somewhere that last season Tottenham were the most nerve wrecking team to support in the Premiership.

It did seem like a victory for Spurs last night coming from 3 behind, I bet the Villa supporters singing happy birthday are more than a tad gutted! As for O'neill blabbering about the last goal being offside, I noticed he didn't mention that one of his own goals was offside

Spurs really have to sort the defence out, and I'm not a great fan of Robinson playing for the team, much less England.

Agree with Flightman, i went over the pub to watch it with the GF (both neutrals) was great to see spuds getting the hump and coating off all the team and especially Robinson. I was texting a spuds mate saying there's always the 2nd half to play and he was saying he couldnt listen to it anymore and then they turned it around and the pub erupted at 4-4, great rollercoaster of a match to watch.

lucky spuds

Not being biased but i think that Scott Carson should be number one goalkeeper, or Ben Foster. Both young and talented.

Robbo has kept 8 clean sheets in his last 9 games for England. Carson should play in the next friendly to give him some experience.
Whatever way you look at it the fact is Robbo James and Carson all let in 4 goals in their last matches.

That was me

No comments on our defending at the moment

That Villa game was so nerve wracking its untrue, I think if we were to win the league we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves

Coming back from 4-1 down like we did certainly made me feel better as I was jetting out of Heathrow to Cyprus, pity that game brought us straight back down to earth with a bang

There is still time to catch the scum yet

Oh yeah the dizzy heights of 3rd bottom, highest league position of the season

It's like having a permanent rope fixed around your neck supporting the Villa except it just won't tighten enough to put you out of your misery.

Agree on Carson. Being a Liverpool fan, we'll have him back when you've finished giving him some experience!

Robert Green is currently the best English keeper. I'd give him and Carson 1 half each in the friendly against Austria before the Croatia game.

What a poor game tonight. spurs are so poor it's untrue. Their defence is non existent. Berbatov looked so disinterested when he came on. He must be longing for January and united to make a bid!
