I wasn't happy about that either why do they do it

The ref was fookin poor though, he'd lost control by the time he gave that pen.

Also see that Chelsea are still grinding out those 1-0's

Does this mean Liverpool are finally out of the race now, or will their Midfield finally show their class

Trouble is, opposing goalkeepers always seem to have blinders against us

That we do.

I felt the referee only gave the penalty because of his earlier mishap. The whistle was at his lips before Ronaldo even went down - not that I'm complaining.

A shame about VDS, but a few comedy moments with John 'The Cat' O'Shea. At least we didn't kick up a 'Chelsea style' fuss over his fractured nose - it's certainly part and parcel of the game. Don't you think, Paul?

Quite simple really: he's a cheat.

I thought the ref was shocking in the first half and agree with G'ster that the penalty almost made up for the one he should have given. Some shocking yellow cards given but the end reuslt was good!

Also, Jonny boy,what a guy!!!

If Keane had made contact with Edwin's head, rather than his nose, that would have been a distinct possibility, yes. Besides, you weren't aware of that at the time, yet still caused a stink about it.

The fact is that it was an identical 50/50 ball that both were committed in going for. The reaction from each team, however, couldn't have been more different.

As they say, money can't buy you class...or continued success, it appears.
