Rest assured, atleast the English aren't a bunch of convicts
But your right, what are England actually good at now? I mean from a sporting perspective.
DJ Vinyl Ritchie........ Lets be realistic, the English cricket team couldn't organise a prayer in a Mosque

Maybe you've got a point there Richtea old chap
Instead of relying on the public school system, Duncan Fletcher should be scouring the prison population

What a plum that guy is, he had too much of an overriding influence, and led a mismanaged campaign.
I think they would have had a better chance, If it was convicts V convicts
DJ Vinyl Ritchie......... atleast if the English did lose, they could have battered them to death

Here's a thought, the Australian cricket team... can't we just pardon them, repatriate them and re-brand them as England?
England, good at............. rowing

I find it quite ironic too, that against a media hyped backdrop of freeloading immigrants flocking to our shores, our two best players were first & second generation immigrants

Was talking to an Aussie mate of mine about this and he said the Aussie team have been training together all year for this, the England team were thrown together a few weeks before going to Aus, also at least one of our bowlers had had next to no game time before hand.
It is the same with all our national teams, pick a bunch of people a few days before an important tournament and exspect them to gel.
Admitedly you would expect them to play with each other fairly easily especially as they do it day in day out admitedly with differnet team mates but if each player is still doing his 9-5 job albeit with a different team you would still expect them to be able to do whilst wearing an England shirt.

The main thing is, our team tried as hard as possible but they were undeniably too good for us this time. I think the coach must be feeling a bit stupid for not picking Monty for the first matches.
It is worth remembering however that we did win the Ashes ourselves last time.
I wish them all the luck for the final two matches.
