Good game tonight . Cracking first half but there change of tactics in the 2nd half really got them back into it with 2 fantastic headers. We really need to sort a left back out as fab is definatly not a left back and is much more suited to going forward. Superb 2nd goal by the big man as well

 

Beauty by Crouch, should make some cracking pics in the paper The Turks made a game of it, fair play to them. Warnock is good enough to play at left back, just needs more games IMO.

Enjoyable game to watch even if we did end up on a shaky note.

Warnock is crap. Cant tackle. he goes in hard but is often late.

 

Like I said, he needs more games. I'd prefer Riise there if he can stay fit. Aurelio has potential, but tends to wander out of position too much.

 

The first half was the best I've seen them play for a long time I think they all got nosebleeds though when we went three up, although their change of tactics did pay off handsomely.

To be fair to Aurelio, he wouldn't have been put under so much pressure if Garcia had put more effort into keeping hold of the ball, and less into p!ssing around trying to be clever
IMO it should have been Garcia not Kuyt who came off for Gonzales. We never looked like scoring another after Dirk left the pitch, maybe if Bellers had been given a few minutes more he could have made an impact?

It was the best atmosphere for a long time too, I can't believe nearly the whole ground stayed on our feet for the full ninety, and not one steward tried telling us to sit down Top marks lads 'n' lasses
