Sri Lanka bowler - Mallinga
Does anyone else think that bloke is 'chucking' the ball? It has got to be the worst bowling action of any international cricketer I have ever seen. Its obviously fine with the ICC or he wouldn't be playing but it must as borderline a case as you will ever see thats allowed? His arm at full stretch is only shoulder height, i'm surprised with it being so far out to the side he isn't taking the umpires head off
As for 5 wickets lost for 5 runs today thats a huge opportunity lost by England for a big lead

Muralitharan's action was scrutinised a while ago for having a 'slinging' style, but it's nowhere near as bad as Mallinga's. Like you say, it must be deemed to be acceptable or he wouldn't be playing. I'm not so sure though

Pontificating
I read the NZ batsmen asked the umpires to change into white trousers in a recent test, his arm was so wide and low they couldnt see the ball!!
Every ball looks dodgy from this guy, Murali must be wondering what all the controversy over his bowling was all about when he see's this guy !!
