Default Man United v Liverpool

The battle for 3rd nah seriously, as a punter who doesn't care who wins emotionally, where should my money go?

Well ill be cheering Man U on All depends which team Fergie decides to play. If he has any sense he'll have Edders in goal and the big boys up front.

If he plays Fletcher centre midfield today I will of just about had enough

We need Smith to play to "try" to look after Gerrard (wishful thinking) and John O'Shea to look after Alonso

We just then need to speak to a building Merchants to hire a crane to take care of Crouchy (lets face it, he is a good player)

if Vidic plays it could be interesting

Heart says United

Brain says a win for Liverpool

Firstly, we need to sort out who's going to play on the right. Who are you thinking?

Secondly, while I agree with playing Smith to add grit/determination to the squad and win the battle in there, I'd rather go with Fletcher than O'Shea. Fletcher has the ability to shine in the bigger games, and I trust him to do so today - which is saying something, as I'm not a fan of his.

We'll go with Neville, Rio, Brown and Silvestre across the back. Rio and Wes are playing well, and handing Vidic his debut against Liverpool (considering he's not played since November) wouldn't be a wise move.

Crouch isn't a good player, he just poses another problem, which we'll deal with without problem.

Heart says United, brain says United.

We will conceed a goal at least of that I'm sure. The left side of our defence is weak.

We are struggling as well in midfield which is where Liverpool are their strongest so it will take massive games from whoever plays centre mid. No Scholes, Ronaldo or Park means Fletcher and O'Shea are likely to play. Gerrard will have a field day.

Our strength is with Rooney and Ruud with the support of Giggs. thing is we need to get the ball to them. If we can then they have goals in them for sure.

the last game was a tight affair and I think this will be too. I'd go for a scoring draw result.

Have you seen the midfield !!
Giggs and then its all downhill, Fletch, O'Shea and Richardson, O'shea and Fletch v Gerrard and Alonso, no contest really!! thats the sort of quality we need in the middle, oh well the tea has duly arrived in the Utd mug so lets settle back and shout at the telly for 90 minutes!

G Nev should expect a fine for that, I see he made sure he wasn't that close to the crowd

I was watching the game upstairs and my 2 1/2 yr old daughter came in the room on 89 minutes so I asked her if she had brought me some good luck to which her reply was No!!, soon I was jumping up and down and she proceded to copy me jumping up and down on the bed pointing at the screen saying Rio Rio, PMSL kids will do anything!! so I made sure she did it to mum who hates football, it continued all evening until it became Reeto Reeto, thats my girl Priceless, well to a parent

Will anything be said about the vile songs directed at George Best, probably not.

Half of the squad missing and still a win!
Well done all especially Gary Neville for his reaction. I hope the saddo's with their tin foil european cups with "5" on them ate their humble pie from them...

As for a liverpool fan saying they were robbed... Isnt that some kind of paradox?
