Our fans - officially the Premiership's best...
Fulham Football Club has today announced that its fans have been awarded the F.A Premier League Behaviour of the Public Award for season 2005/2006.
The tables are compiled throughout the season from marks awarded by The F.A Premier League Delegates who attend each match and assess the fans' conduct throughout the game.
A £20,000 award is presented each season to the club whose supporters are deemed to be the best behaved and the Club will celebrate the award at a fixture at the beginning of the season. The funds will be used to support a community related initiative, details of which are yet to be confirmed.
Mohamed Al Fayed, Chairman of Fulham Football Club said:
'I am delighted that Fulham fans have received some recognition for their impeccable behaviour throughout the season. I have often said that our fans our second to none and this award reaffirms my complete admiration of them as a group of individuals that represent their Club magnificently'.

Can't even fill quota of away tickets allocated, so of course they will behave, they are out-numbered.

does that mean its easier to win trophys if you have more supporters then ? More money & all that ? So what happened to Man Utd, Newcastle & Liverpool to name just 3 !
I think you will find that crowd trouble has nothing to do with numbers ! Ask Millwall for example !

Why cant supporters of these so called big clubs be gracious when other win things despite how menial they are !
We are a family club & pride ourselves on that ! The majority of fans come away from the Cottage without a bad word to say about it !
I can’t see us either winning the League or a worthy European competition in my time ! We have been promoted several times in the years & been second to bottom in the bottom league & lost to the bottom team in the time I have supported them !
So winning anything is a good achievement for MY club !
Unlike Liverpool where there are only two choices of team to support In London there are several ! We have never been successful enough to compete with the likes of Chelsea Arsenal etc for their prospective fans & our ground isn’t big enough to do so ! We can only get just over 20,000 fans at home ! So percentage wise compared to home games we get a similar away travel to other teams !
I was well chuffed when Liverpool beat Chelscum the other week in the "Champions League" & will be supporting them again as an English team in Europe !
