Good luck. I hope Newcastle win, or at least get a point off Chelski. They're missing Robben, which at this stage in the season is good for everyody bar themselves. If they drop points, then the last few games could be very interesting

I did not bother sending away my application for a ticket

Enjoy the game Mike, we're playing Chelsea 4 times this season and 3 of those will be at SJP.
We've got to win at least 1

Mike, I think you should be ok. Most Chelsea fans on the CFC chat pages are accepting that games against Barcelona and Liverpool in the week after the cup game are more important.

It was pretty common knowledge that both Terry and Makelele were on 4 yellows before the Everton game, and were not going to risk missing the Carling Cup Final. It was always likely they'd be rested at NUFC. Now Terry is suspended, but from the team's point of view misses the least critical game .

I would expect Makelele to be rested now to prevent any chance of missing the final. Others likely to be rested are Cech, Lampard, Duff etc.

Personally I would field a team along the lines of: Cudicini, Johnson, Watt, Carvalho, Morais, Geremi, Jarosik, Cole, Smertin, Kezman, Oliveira.

Easy for NUFC? Well maybe, but the above team does contain at least 8 full internationals, and who can predict the way NUFC will play?!

Enjoy the game!

Mark

PS. I'm not travelling up for this one, but will be there for the league game .

Souness does not like anything but his own fat headed opinion and is blinded by this by killing off 2 clubs in one season

I had the choice to watch the Toon v Chelsea game on Sunday or England v Ajerbeijan qualifier next month, guess which one I'm going too

I've only been to 1 match this season the game at Anfield and I'm glad I gave up the season ticket and saved myself £500 a year and haven't felt robbed watching ****e....

You're a sensible man.
I'm the one with MUG written across my forehead.

Can't wait until summer to see who actually renew their tickets, I'll probably do so but out of sheer loyalty to the club and not the board

Its one of those "if it came off what good tactics they were" very risky subbing all three though
