Default John Terry...

... has cost us big time tonight.

After the France game I thought he was lucky to get his place ahead of King, who was the best player on the pitch.

He was nothing flash against the Swiss, same against Croatia, and tonight, he was a disgrace.

All the Chelsea fans are going to have a go at me, but why can't he play for England the same as he does for Chelsea??

Tonight he was 10 yards behind the rest of the defence, making it impossible to have any sort of system at the back, which made the rest of the defence nervous as hell. Then he leaves probably the worst striker in the Premier League unmarked in the box for their equaliser.

I'll never forgive him for tonight.

Andy.

he was playing with an injury. king came home, quite rightly, because his wife had given birth prematurely.

so there wasn't really much of a choice for sven.

Made no difference, Terry would always get the nod over King.

Don't know why.

I don't believe that. He had other defenders fit.

You don't play a major quarter final with an injured centre half, no matter who he is.

Ive never really rated Terry tbh. Doesnt have the presence in the box like sol does nor can he pass a ball to save his life. Pity Rio was a muppet as him and sol would have been rock solid.

Thumbs down

LOl, yeah right.

I guess you reckoned he shouldn't be on the pitch when he headed on for Lampard's equaliser?! I suppose you were slagging him off while all around were celebrating?

Oh and he had the ***** to take a penalty in the first five. Ahead of the likes of a gutless striker like Vassell. I can't remember ever seeing Terry take a penalty. The man has guts and tried his best. We all know Rio would have been paired with Sol if it wasn't for his own stupidity. Terry is still at an early stage of his England career. There are far more culpable senior members of the team.
