I agree that about the dead wood, but we cannot forget what he did for the club i.e. UEFA Cup, FA Cup, Charity Shield, Super Cup, Worthington Cup.
We should be grateful for what he has attained for the club and should respectfully say goodbye to the guy. And accept that he is NOW no longer fit for the club.
But that aside COME ON YOU REDS!!!!

I think everyone does. He bought some very ‘bizarre’ players to say the least and they should be on their way out, poste haste. Also the ones, hopefully, who only managed to get in the team, as they were GH’s favourites ie Danny Murphy. Biscan. Took long enough for Heskey to be sent on his way!

He got rid of players he didn’t like, regardless of their footballing abilities, Robbie Fowler, Jari Litmanen, loaned out Markus Babbel – just because they dared to question him, players who wore the red shirt with pride. He bought in some absolute rubbish, which wouldn’t even get into the likes of Man U’s reserve team.
So you reckon we should be grateful – huh? Respectfully say goodbye? LMAO
His six year reign has managed to demote us to a huge rebuilding programme and on limited funds! Though Houllier may be a sound footballing tactician, his singular failure to inspire his own signings/players to similar levels at Liverpool count for sweet FA.
And accept that he is NOW no longer fit for the club.

Houillers reign and the fact players lost faith in him as a manager came with his bizzare substituation away to leverkusen, when we where cruising through to a CL semi against the mancs, he took hamman off for smicer........smicer who has never done anything in a red shirt but is a houiller favourite, cue leverkusen scoring 2 goals in 5 mins......after that game players did question him, cue babbel bombed out, he took liverpool to 2nd and the team needed a slight tweak, he went and bought diouf, diao, cheyrou, possible the 3 worst signings ever in liverpools history......also the way he defended the team after every defeat when he should have occassionly bollocked them so the fans knew he wasnt happy
again another substition saw him lose the support of the kop, man city at home, 5 mins to go, we are winning 2-1 and city are down to 10 men and were sitting so far back dudek has a seat in the anny road, the kop row attack attack attack, he brings biscan on for an attacker.......i have never heard the kop boo so much, he then question the supporters for booing him, ffs we were playing city.........anyhow he has gone now, i wont forget the treble season but i also wont forget some of the football i have had to watch the last 2 season..........the king is dead, long live the king

Hi Chris [redkop1] How many times have we discussed this during Houllier's reign? His bizarre choice of players and tactics, also the failure to have a Plan B in place.
In a way, I am glad I wasn't at the matches to witness last season's abysmal form, even though, I missed Anfield dreadfully . I chose the right season for a sabbatical though, didn't I?

I would absolutely love to. However I only get about 1 weekend in 6 off and I could imagine what the family would say if I spent it travelling to Liverpool and back
Okay sounds a plan where do I sign up lol
Sky TV and an E season ticket of LFC.TV is about it for me
