Its refreshing as a Pompey fan that he has declined to go back to the Toon, even with a potential Euro medal.
He loves it down at Fratton park and the fans are not shy about letting him know we feel the same.

we hardly saw goals all season, let alone celebrations like that.
also, he has become best buds with Yakubu which means the two are both now on fire on the pitch.
I reallt hope our chairman finds the moolah to make it a perm signing.
surely the Toon will not want him back now after this?
