If the premiership was only 6 games long
Then Pompey would be parading the cup through the streets right now ....... ''play up pompey'', another season in the top flight is virtually guarenteed and we still might even finish above the scummers!!

Actually you'd have been parading it 6 months ago oh, except we all know how Pompey fans like clinging to the past
You may well finish above the Saints (unlikely IMHO) but so what? You've both won f**k all this year apart from another year in the prem so it hardly matters!!

Considering that the season before last we needed a result at bradford not to go down to the 2nd Id say that surviving your first year in the prem is a real result.
as far as what does it buy you, well hopefully Smertin and Lua Lua
typically skate as always
