Does anyone go out over the winter? Just wondering, as I've not been in months. There's partly no time, and also, the currents in Aberdeen are far too strong for my liking. A tad chilly as well

I thought about bringing all my stuff back to Liverpool & taking a trip back to West Kirby, but didn't quite get round to it.

Maybe next year Quite a shame actually, as there's been some really good winds back in Liverpool...

 

Hi Franx, Not been out for ages and I live in just outside West Kriby, too cold this time of year, gave up freezing my bollox off winter sailing a about 4 years ago. Afternoons in the pub are much more appealing!!

Yeah whenever I can, been doing a bit of wakeboarding over the last two years and trying to get our house finsished, so not as much as I'd like. Still gives me a buzz.

 

I don't suppose you have a white classic WRX do you? I've seen one down there quite a bit, as I used to work at the sailing centre.

 

No not mine mate, I had a classic dark green until a few months ago, some f**kers stole it.

It's been good weather over the last few days, big winds, big seas, well for west kirby and BLOODY COLD.

 

I noticed that. All my stuff's in Aberdeen though, so I couldn't go out if I wanted to. Good winds though.
