Football is the best.
Without it life/the world would be a much duller place to live.Its bad enough having to go from may to august without it.Just think if it never existed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It always makes me laugh when you get these ***** coming into sport just to whinge about Football and how boring and **** it is, its like a cossie owner coing in here and slagging Scoobs, I just dont see the point, what a waste of energy and time, surely they could be polishing their dump valves or buffing up their gold wheels

You're right, I was always last to be picked but only cos I was doing everything to avoid playing at all!!

22 grown men knocking a ball around a field for 90 minutes. I saw the england game, well some of it. What a load of pointless crap. Fly an entire squad across Europe for 90 minutes of goalless midfield scrapping in which the only interesting thing was what taunts the turks could come up with and how someone who'd lose an arguement with a loaf of bread got a finger "nearly" stuck up his nose.
What I really want to know is who decided that football should be embedded on the national conciousness in this way. I dont like football, never have, never will, yet I have to put up with saturation coverage in every media outlet because the back pages of newspapers seem to think that 12 pages of "sport" means 12 pages of "football" and the front pages of newspapers seem to think that I'll be interested on how a bunch of overpaid numpties cant keep it in their pants (as per bloody usual).
I dont want to be a part of this pointless merry-go-round of scandal, non events and general happenings that if it really came down to it, would not be noticed if it dissapeared into the bed of **** in which it is based without a ripple.
Yet I seem to be obliged to take part whether I want to or not.
