Heard on the wireless today that some players are earning £50,60,70000 per week. This is unreal money for what they do. No wonder some of the clubs are in financial trouble if theyre paying these guys so much.

Like I said elsewhere - the national average wage is £60k per annum ..... I think the reports are wrong, they mean per annum NOT per week!!

Chip try updating that figure to £90k/£100k a week for the top players and more than that abroad.
£60k a week is nothing now for the big boys, they wouldnt get out of bed for that
They used to get that much a few years ago!

I've heard a few rumours that a certain Juan Veron is on over £100k per week
I know for certain that there are quite a few LFC players on £50k+ per week...
