makes me laugh, why did he miss the test

seriosuly though, its all cause of money, if these players wasnt paid so much do u think they'd own the friggin world and can get away with things, u dont see any scandel coming from Div2 teams do ya as they are mostly on a moderate wage...

football is cr@p unless u support a proper team like Oldham

LMAO at the pathetic state of english football.

Strikes, Rapes, Rio whatshisname, the F.A., Sexual Assults, Sven pi$$ed off, etc..etc... culmanating in humiliation in Turkey this weekend.

At last football is becoming genuinely entertaining.

Oooh Grovesy .... wrong side of bed this morning mate

For those that don't like football and are sick of the whole media crap that it attracts... I can see exactly why people find it funny

PS I am a football fan .........

But not an English one ... so it's even funnier as everyone has been laughing at the state of our national team for years

Too many? How many - a couple of hundred in the whole country.

Its the media and Joe Public's obsession with reading any old cr@p about 'celebrities' which drives it all.

At least top class footballers have a skill, unlike megeb00bs Jordan and most of these manufactured p0p bands / 'singers' etc.

The basic problem with football in the UK is it's treated by the media and the armies of supporters as a religion instead of a sport.

The average conversation opener in Britain is either about football if it's a bloke or Coronation Street if it's a woman. It's becoming a very very sad country!

tiggers.

Question

Isn't the problem just the Thatcher generation again? Spoilt, selfish, with too much money, too little responsibility, and too little control by clubs scared stiff they'll lose their so-called stars, if they start telling 'em what to do?

A lot of this stuff has gone on since the 60s probably, re soccer and particularly in the music industry.

Its just much more exposed now. The gutter media (all the red tops and chat / celeb mags) behind a lot of it!

No player is bigger than any club and as a rule clubs are quite happy to come down hard on their stars. (unless its Arsenal, in which case he didn't see the incident!)

What we need is a good strong Tory government back in power again.

This would ensure that the yob culture, that is endemic in our society today, would be eliminated.

Let's get away from spin and have a bit of substance in our politics.

It might take a few years, but once people start taking responsibility for their actions once more and national pride returns, then the role models that shape our children's minds will be a credit to us.

It's time the "couldn't care less" attitude that a lot of so-called professionals in the public eye have was banished, and a sense of responsibility could return.

IMHO

Its the bloody money!! I saw that Rio is on £100k A WEEK!!!

It takes me a frigging YEAR to earn that kind of money - I am WELL pi55ed off!!!

How can he earn MORE than the national average wage of £60k per Annum - in a WEEK!! I am flabergasted!! Gobsmacked!! Cheesed off!!

At least my taxes don't support him, so thats fair enough!

Bunch of batty boys the lot of them..

maybe they are using it as an excuse not to get a thrashing from Turkey.

The Rules are simple. he didnt want to take a test.

But this test process is a complete farse....... No if 's and but's... just **** in this bottle please.

David beckham should set a example and try to get things sorted... No..... Typical brits..lets have a strike!!!!!

never have this problem with most other sports.

So ....Even if Engurland win on Sat.... Theres a new Football boss in town and he's doing a good job.

I thought the "typical" brit attitude was "oh well, best not complain..."

I hope the boys DONT play the turkey game and show those bunch of clue-less FA ***** that they cant just treat anyone/everyone like $hit on their shoe!

Sven should quit
Squad should strike
And Rio should smoke some weed on live TV

That would show em

But seriously...

What did he do wrong that was sooooooo bad that he got axed from the squad?

Missed a test? That he'd taken a hundred time before and passed!

What i dont understand is they axed him because they didnt want it to come out after the game was played that he missed a drugs test. BUT its out now and he's passed the test (ok a bit late) but its done. So why still ban him? Fine him.... Find the club.... BUT COME ON!!! GET REAL!

Well this has the media and the country on its toes!!!

The FA need to get its testing sorted. The players need to understand they are part of a very large a nd serious business. Whatever happens This will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

Still a good excuse for been beaten!!!!!(maybe)
