MTB: Santa Cruz Blur or Specialized Enduro?
#1
Anyone own either. I'm looking to chop my Orange Sub-5 in and want something lightweight, at least 4-5 inches plush travel both ends and durable for typical sh*tty UK riding conditions. It's for all day hacks/aggressive trail riding.
I've only ever owned single-pivot MTB's and am slightly worried about moving to a multi-link system, but I've heard the suspension action is much better. Does the back end get loose and sloppy after a couple of months? What about maintenance?
Any opinions.

Actually don't own either but... I have a Marin RiftZone Quad which runs a very similar linkage system to the Blur. No bob when pedalling like a single-pivot, very efficient power transfer (no chain/suspension conflict) and bullet-proof in British mud.
I guess the Blur has more trail cred but then it's a lot more expensive than the Marin for similar components. I've ridden with a Blur and it didn't seem to be any better than my Quad?

Unbelievable! I've never been in here before. And I've come in to ask this very question!
I own a SC heckler(which is brilliant, I just fancy a shiny new one!) and am thinking of buying either the new heckler or the blur.
The heckler is 5" of bombproof single pivot simplicity.
The blur is more cross country orientated, 4.75" travel that may or may not be a chew on to set up.
Which is the best all round bike?
I'm still leaning towards the Heckler but am concerned that with the new laid back geometry it might not climb as well as the one I have.
