Blues or Reds?

Safe in the knowledge that ManYu, Arsenal and Newcastle Utd are in the Champions League for next Season, who do you think will follow them to the "big prize"?
Let's face it, a CL place is more important now than winning the FA or Worthington Cup, as neither of them bring the £10s of millions that clubs need to survive.
Some of us can sit back and watch Chelsea and Liverpool squirm on the hook, knowing that failure will mean yet another huge drop in income for either club.
I vote Reds, as they're a team I respect.

I think Chelsea will do it. A) because they are playing at home and B) I think they have been the better team of the two this season. Plus I think they would do our country better in Europe.

I actually think it'll be a draw, but I'd like Liverpool to win. As for Chelsea representing the Country better? In the last couple of Seasons, haven't they gone out in the early stages to silly little teams?

Toonman, interested to hear why you don't respect the blues? If you appreciate good football, i'm not sure how you can favour Liverpool over Chelsea. Lets hear your prejudices!

Why do I respect Liverpool more than Chelsea? Easy; past record. Liverpool are still the most successful British Club, despite the best efforts of ManYu over the past 10 years.
I did want Chelsea to beat Leeds Utd in 1970 though!
Let's hope you don't meet any "silly little Clubs" in the early stages of the ECL.

Interestingly Chelsea owe alot more than Leeds! They owe 80mn quid, i think personally they are gonna get raped soon as Leeds did, if they dont have a good CL run and dont make it in to CL next year they are in big trouble.
I have serious issues respecting a club who sack their most successful manager ever, Vialli, then offer someone who hasnt won a bean a 5yr contract, Bates must be mad!
