Sort of a mini league going on here, think the Reds have left it too late though. But who knows, Chelsea last game is crucial now.

Geordies should get a place, but they have to play the Maccams next Sat.

Agree ash, I think Liverpool will just miss out looking at who the others have to play. Good win for your guys yesterday, a loss would have given you no chance

Got a Geordie in our office and he looks very nervous, mainly around the Maccam game, they have nothing to play for and aim would be to spoil CL chances for Black and Whites. Of the 3 clubs, that looks like the most tricky game this weekend.

We have to do something that we haven't done for years - beat Chelsea at the Bridge. But then, we can cope with the big games.

Still a bad season, but you learn more from disappoint than from winning.

interesting though...what will happen to liverpools uefa cup place if they get in to the champions league because man u will also be in the champions league?

Can honestly say Liverpool are coming good in time, if we get Henchoz and Hyppia back for the Chelsea game i could fancy us for at least a draw.

I like the noises i am hearing about this summer clearout of all the crap (hopefully including Heskey). Ronaldinho is available for 12mn and Duff is looking top-tastic atmo. We need Dugarry or another proven striker up front, Finnan should be good, another quality midfielder, and a creative winger with pace.

Newcastle have 3 games left to mess up, i can see them losing at least once more, Chelsea have an easy run until us at the last game of the season, also our Goal Diff is better than Newcastles atmo!

/hopes he is right and we qualify for it!

If not, no 10-15mn extra to spend on badly needed players!

Hopefully buy Joe Cole and De foe when West Ham go down! Worked for my champ manager team

Erm West Brom have been playing well, hope they dont give us any trouble on Sat! Likewise Fulham and Sunderland come on and do us a favour


Oh and buy Rivaldo Houllier!

Think there is much to that Sunderland game then first would appear.

We play much better away from home than at home - less pressure and all that.

Anyway, lets focus on WBrom and Man City, we need those out of the way first before even thinking about Chelsea.

Also, Chelsea have to play West Ham soon at Upton Park.
