WHAT DID SAVAGE SAY TO DION?????

Any lip readers out there that can "reveal" the truth....
Definately not a racist remark, but was it something to do with his neck???
I am sure someone can make a good guess.....

Does it matter? I ask.
Dion Dublin was wrong, and he has the BOLLOX to say in front of the press that he was, that is what matters, he knows it was wrong and accepts he will be punished.
I hope the Police don't get involved, as a referee I maybe will need to carry a mobile and ring 999 when two guys have a little 'face to face'.
Congratulations Dion Dublin, you messed up, and you are BIG enough to admit it.

As a Bluenose, I hate to admit I've always really liked Dublin (then he signed for the Villa!!!)...but fair do's he's apologised - something you dont see Keane or the like contemplating.

Savage did go up in the air - yes...there was contact...it would have been a foul and a yellow card....what was he supposed to do... stand there, and wait for his ankle to be broken FFS?...he did NOT roll around on the floor trying to milk the ref like 90% of the nancy poncies who play professional football would (the fact that his initial reaction was to want to punch Dublin's lights out was fairly understandable)
If it was Savage who had done that tackle the Villa fans would have been calling for the death penalty

Tell you what, getting nutted in the eye, or on the bridge of the nose, even 'gently', hurts like hell.
I'd have displayed a pained reaction.
If he'd done it 'hard' Savage would be nursing a broken nose or cheekbone.
It doesn't need to break to hurt though! I don't think he played it up at all.

Dion was a tw@t! he cost Villa the game cuz altho no1 was running off his headers he was winning a reasonable ammount of arial challenges...Savage brings the worse out of players so it`s part of his game and love him or loathe him i`d have him at Villa in claret and blue anytime...that`s what Villa lack!! As for Dion being a man for his public apology, i bet that really hurt him...i mean he is on about £20k a week....i think i could swallow my pride on that kinda money.

What Mr Dublin was wrong...
but surely refs must be aware that headbutting Savage is not a red card offence.....
just like all refs know that Stephane Henchoz is allowed to handle the ball in the area

Depends on the ref and who is offending.
This is what irritates me as a grass roots referee, seeing these so called professionals make a mockery out of refereeing.
The ref at the Villa match certainly was missing a **** load of offences made by both Blues and Villa.....when he did blow for a foul, he was weak as hell with the bookings.
It was inevitable that something/someone was going to snap.....predictably it was Dublin.
Ah well....I wonder what the repercussions will be where the FA are concerned.....

halsey is a cr*p ref.
as a chelsea supporter he has f*cked us up on 2 occasions. once against spurs (mistakenly sending off JFH when he should have sent off melchiot) and the cudicini incident with windass (or fat C**T as we call him)
i didnt see the savage/ dublin thing but halsey makes some very dubious decisions imho

It seems that Savcage has never been sent off to date, but if goading was an offence then he would not be around on the pitch for very long.
Did he always have the Wurzel-perm at Leicester????

Dublin did not headbutt the guy hard, not enouugh to cause his reaction IMHO.
The tackle warranted a yellow card....the aggressive action certainly warranted the red and Dublin deservedly got that.
No disagreement there.
I still think that Savage over-reacted when he clutched his nose.
