As soon as Fergie stops playing 4-5-1 at home to the likes of West Brom then we will be back on track. The 4-5-1 has never worked so why does he persist with it? So he can play Veron that's why, it's getting an obsession of his now, trying to justify the £28m he spent on him. We all know he's a world class player but he simply isn't needed at OT, he upsets the whole balance of the side when he's playing. Personally I would go back to 4-4-2 every game with Beckham, Keane, Scholes or Butt (depending on the opponents) and Giggs. This is what brought is all our success for Gods sake! He changed it last year to accomodate Veron and look what's happened since.....

Time will tell, but Fergie is very stubborn which I personally can't stand about him.

I would swap him for Crespo anyday.

It's more a case of other teams catching up, and in ****'s case matching/surpassing them.

Taggart should have made way for a new manager, but thankfully he's still there metamorphamizing into Brian Clough!

I disagree. If we had never bought Veron then we would have continued playing 4-4-2 all last season and it would have all been a different story in my view.....

Fergie is starting to lose the plot though, I've said this since the beginning of last season and he seems to be proving me right...

So, Swin, who do you fancy as your next manager? O'Neil?

I reckon the coach who has just come in, Carlos Queiroz, will be the next manager. He has already managed/coached Portugal and South Africa.

Hopefully Man U really have lost the plot and are on their way down...
Oh those happy days when Wimbledon were at the top and Man U at the bottom!

Man Utd come back twice against Chelsea and its "man utd manage to scrape a point against blues". Arsenal sneak a 2-2 draw in the last 2 mins at west ham and its "champions show their class". Makes me. The pressure will be on Arsenal this season to win the 2nd title in a row - fair play if they do but Im not willing to say the premiership is a forgone conclusion like most people.

Man Utd may not have started that well but then we never really do. Remember fergies fledglings losing first game to villa then winning by 12 points???? I think the key to Man Utd doing well this season is what happens with O'Shea and Ferdinand as they will be the only ones to keep the defence tight.

Finished maybe
But hey they didnt half start a lot and win a **** load

All real Man U fans wont be slitting their throats because we remember when they were ****e and the odd FA Cup Final was the business, all these Man U newbies can only remember winning stuff and now feel like its the end of the world, they'll be wearing Arsenal shirts next year

Rather than start another one I found this one - anyone got any new views ?

Personally - Man Utd, when they need to, can turn on their game and pretty much beat any side in the World - they seem to be going through a "Liverpool" just now (except in the Champions league).

Is it time for Fergie to hang up his boots ? (If he can get them out of Beck's head )

We seem to be lacking passion in the Premier League. We still arent playing that well in the CL but manage to pull the results that we need out.

Ah well at least Juve cant use their "we were playing a weak side" excuse this week. Perhaps they should play it more often as 1-2 is better than 0-3.

When Gary Neville tried to chip Buffon I nearly PMSL
