My wife is leaving me for Gary Neville!

This is absolutely serious, if England lose against Brazil my wife will be going to Malta for the weekend with Gary Neville. Please be assured however, this is:

a) Not a lost bet.
b) Neither am I some sort of fanatical United supporter.

Depending on results, England win against Brazil Neville then goes on standby to fly out to the Far East to join the rest of our boys. If so he will then not go to Malta to run his football schools, as he does every summer.

If, God forbid, we lose, then he goes to Malta and my wife and the rest of a BBC film crew go with him to film it for the current series of Airport.

Is this not an even bigger reason (not that we needed one) for England to win against Brazil??

PS speaking of Airport, please tune in tonight to watch my BAFTA deserving TV debut. For about 3 seconds you will see my ugly mug on the opening titles. Try to guess which one I am and tell me if you think I deserve an award…
