Ireland deserved to win that............Spain were very very poor.
Is it me or are nearly all the top nations playing crap, yet it still is a cracking world cup?
Spain will go out to Italy next so it doesn't really matter.

Ireland deserved the win but you don't miss 4 penalties in a game and live to tell the tale.
I was surprised by the choice of penalty takers (three misses from three people who've never taken them for Ireland - let alone in the World Cup). Where was Damian Duff or Breen?
When you compare the teams though look at it this way, on one side you have Luis Enrique and Raul whilst on the other Robbie Keen, Damian Duffer (who was excellent last night) and a guy clasified as "unattached" cause he's not currently signed for ANY club (Breen, although he will be soon). I think just to suggest Ireland could win would land you in the Irish jokes but they actually deserved to go through.
