That was an impressive goal, too... though I couldn't say that too loudly in the office
Last night, my wife (Mongolian, so oriental-looking) and I walked past some guys in the street, who said "Portugal, Portugal" to her. We thought they were being racist (unfortunately there are such people in this world and this country), but we now made the connection they thought she might be Korean.
I told her last night she should have replied "USA, USA"...
We didn't ask the secretaries to work too hard this afternoon, we didn't want to get our heads bitten off!

Figo has been a waste of space, it looks like he has spent too much time reading the press and now believes he is better than anyone else, so doesn't have to try. I'll try to resist commenting on how the coach could leave Rui Costa out of the starting line up for the last two matches IMHO he is a far better player than Figo.
They were my pre-tournament favourites on the assumption Rui would have been playing and Figo would have put some effort in, but in all honesty they haven't deserved to get out of the group stage. I expected S Korea to get through the group, anyone who saw their friendlies would know they are a useful side who could cause any team a hard time and thanks to them at least one of my bets came through.
