The venue is Coopers Restraunt. Its a Brewers Fayre with large garden and kids play area inside. Large tarmac car park.

The location is on the Hailsham Road in Stone Cross which is just outside of Eastbourne.

What a damned fine idea. Mrs LC will be happy to see him too (she's a bit broody - I might need to think about buying that leather kiddie seat).

Nine Scoobs and a Lotus Carlton! Excellent turnout for a very "local" meet arranged at short notice. Nice to meet everyone today - looking forward to the next one!

Likewise. I was going to suggest a regular(ish) meet - maybe the first Saturday of every month. Problem is, I can't make 4th May myself as I'm at the Donnington Lotus show. Don't let it stop the rest of you though. I am the odd one out after all :0)

Red face

Why don't you make it the 3rd Saturday then it would give a nice gap from the Sussex meet at Pease Pottage (Held on the first Sunday of the month).
I'm not aloud out to Scooby meets 2 days running

If it was a regular thing I'm sure I could make it occasionally and might even pursuade a few more to join me

Sorry couldn't make it today!!!!

Was it just me or did it get better when we went inside and warmed up ?????

Top result for such a local thing, and yes, it should become a regular - the Eastbourne massive Julia ??!!

Perhaps we meet there again next time, and then head off somewhere for a bit of a jaunt, perhaps head over to the pub at the top of Beachy Head ?

Rexy, I want that Zorst, it really is the dogs, shame I can't find it for the price you remembered. Before we set a date for the next one, perhaps you can check with the boss to see when she can make it too ? - as a guide, 11th May (then LC will be there too).

Lastly, pray silence for our friend in the Saxo..... "I'd race anyone of them...." as he span his wheels for us....bless.

Well done to all for turning up, top pm.

Good to see you all there, and what a geat venue too. It would be even better next month ? as the wind chill factor will be more to my liking.

3rd Saturday of the month sounds good to me, as Dyney says it will be good to spread the 2 events within each month.

Drive over to Beachy Head, Burling Gap or Cuckmeer Haven would be a good for a laugh & all 3 have pubs.

Afraid I can't do the Sussex meet tommorrow (7th) as am being a bit of an Alan Titmarsh..... and giving the garden an overhall.

Maybe we can all 'Convoy' up to May's Sussex meet, a good rendevouse point being the Old Station in Polegate ??? (well until the Bypass opens).....

See you all Soon.... and Krud, get those piccies posted.....

This could get bigger.

I saw another two Scoobs on the way home, including the clone of my car. With the wagon joni and I saw on the way there we could be into double figures next time.

I have some more pictures (including the P1) but have been having problems with the uploader. Will try again and post if successful.

Joni, I guess it probably was...but hey, you won the prize for best exit, even if it was on a cold engine !!

There are at least 4 more Scoobs in the very local proximity, we just need to track them all down - will post in "was it you" shortly for one I've just seen.

Hopefully see you soon...

Got myself registered at last!
Thanks to all for making my son & I feel very welcome. It was a most enjoyable Saturday pm. What a great turnout too! Sorry I was a little late and didn't get to speak to everyone, but next time...
Enjoyed joni leaving the car park. WHat an exit!

I'll make sure the P1 is clean for the next meet, so grateful no piccies.

krud (I think), the trackday info for Goodwood was for 2001 - does the contact on the note still operate the track day events?

See you all soon (Next time, maybe I can persuade my wife to join us)

Steve, glad to see you've finally made it onto the BBS - does that mean Mike will be on soon too ??????

Well done for turning up, and just waiting for REX to give us some thoughts on dates and we'll have the next one up and running - definately think you won the prize for the dirtiest car....!! :0)
