Where do you get your car serviced????
Hi guys,
Its coming up to 6 months since i bought my 06 Spec C and was wondering if anyone knew a good place where i could get it serviced.
Although the guy i bought said it "had a full service!!!" i want to it to get a good going over.
Better to get something sorted out now before any big bills come later on, plus i dont like having an unserviced car!!
As pretty sure the Spec C need servicing every 6 months
Not that anything is wrong with it but just want piece of mind.
Used to have a great local Subaru dealer that used to service my old V5 Type R but they have now closed down.
Thanks for any recommendation you can give me guys.
Mel

Depending on the mileage of your car (i guess its low) 6 month service is just an oil change, Some of the guys on here do it themselves.
I order my bits on-line and give mine to a mates garage local to me. He in fact does all my bits, plugs, pads belts etc, I only go to powerstaion/litchfields once a year for geometery check and stamp in the service book for the history.
A couple of the guys have given there motors to Hughberry motor service in Herts mean't to very good with experienced Subaru staff, PM JonMC he has there number.

Here you go mate...
Paul or Steve
Hughberry Vehicle Services
Unit 3 The Old Quarry
Springwell Lane
Rickmansworth
Herts, WD3 8UX
Tel 01923775221
They are good and seem to know their stuff. Depends on whether or not you want a recognised dealer stamp in your service book or not. These guys are great for the routine stuff and a service will be no dramas for them

Mite be an idea to look on line for your oil, I think all of us use Silkolene 10-50w in the Spec C's with Motul 5.1 brak fluid.
I normally get mine of Opie oil Website and buy in bulk when they have special offers on.
Me And Madison monkey run DS2500, they are bit dusty but very effective pads whn warm and a reasonable price got mine from Scoobyparts (of all places) not sure what Rickya's running.
Good luck
