hi all

wondering if anyone can help me, i know this should be posted in ST but i need a quick response.

ive been hearig some odd squeaking noises coming from the car past day or so. only when its wet tho. im guessing suspensions or bushes? any ideas?

secondly my EML is on, code came up as a misfire on cylinder 4, just did a quick service changed the sparks etc.

i need somewhere to get it plugged in and looked at again or a decent mechanic to look at the car for.

any ideas?

thanks again

The squeaking could be bushes, but it could also be a wheel bearing a slightly binding brake. I get more of a creak from my poly bushes (I will get around to greasing them up soon), but that is more when it is dry and they quieten down in the wet.

I would look at brakes, thinking about the dust clogging up when wet especially if the pistons are a little sticky and easing up when you lift off the centre pedal.

When you changed your plugs, did you check your coilpacks for any cracks etc.

Additionally, when I had my plugs changed (lazy moment) one of the connectors came loose and caused a misfire. May be worth just checking it is properly clipped into place.
