Default Update.........

As per Magg's post things aren't as bad a they look, the steering arm is bent hence why the wheel won't turn, the other bad bit is the rear quarter which will need replacing and the bottom jigging out, otherwise its all panels 2 x front wings, front and rear door, front and rear light, front and rear bumper maybe a front top cross beam as there's a slight bend in it, Otherwise Ok, it starts and still drives, few pics.......

Question: Will the fact that it was lifted and dragged by the Marshal's at Brands damaged the front and rear diffs in anyway?

My First headache is where to get a quote from? My worry is would the insurance approved garage quote from UK Sti prices or the original JDM parts? Further to that would they have a clue of the difference and will they be able to do wheel alignment etc correctly?

Have spoken to my local Subaru garage who have given me there approved repairs name but they want the car taken there, The only people I can think of/trust is ABW in Essex but again Ideally the car would need to go to them, Darran has offered for me to e-mail him some pics but even I think he would need to see it.

I should be able to get a flat bed sorted, but will the insurance accept a quote from someone i choose if there people are cheaper?

If they decide it is not economical from them to repair it, then how much will they give me in today's market, considering what I paid only 10 months ago and how hard it would be to find another Blobeye Spec C WR limted for sale and how much would they ask for the salvage.

Terminator X has had an offer for his which he had up for £14995 and I've been looking on the net and there are few Hawkeye Spec C's on the market all around at about 17k and a couple on Blobeye T20 and T25's around 15k.

Having had the weekend to mull over things and with loss of the car I ideally would like it repaired as it is such a unique car with only 1000 made in WR limited format and as it was hard enough to find in the first place,
I guess we'll have to see what happens.

All that aside, I wanted to thank everyone with messages of support and help, I haven't know you guys that long but it's reassuring to know that the MSOC and Subaru community are ready to help a fallen comrade in his hour of need.......thank you all

Im sure darren (ABW) Is a pretty safe bet. Still no sign of our flatbed, if it turns up in the next few days im sure something could be arranged for him to have a look at it for you.

My right foot around Druids, apparently thats a no no when i cam down the hill the back caught the hard green rubber at the side of the track spun us around we then went onto the wet grass and basically took of and wacked into the tyres backwards spun around again and ended up next to the track. All fun.
