Cool

SIDC meet, non-members welcome of course
Kicks off from about 6.30pm when the hungry boys get there for dinner, gets busier from 8pm when us poor city lads have finally stuggled back outta London.
See ya there,
Chuck

Question

I'm going to try to get there. Please treat me gently as this will be my first time (therefore I could be considered a Virgin!!) Do you know if there'll be any of the SIDC committee there ?? As I would like to become a member and it would save me the cost of a envelope and stamp.

Ed.

Chuck,

I should be there ................. I'm not sure about bowling , they do like the lanes to be pre-booked ........... BUT maybe they won't be busy (if anyone fancies a ride there after eating to find out!!)

Question

How do you get to the halfway house coming from Southend to London, I guess you take the A128 turnoff taking the right...but how do you then get to the HH which in theory should now be on my left?!

take the a128 to Brentwood and then turn left about 50 yards up the road. This small lane takes you back to the HH and is signposted. If you get as far as the golf club on the a128 on the right, then you have gone too far...see you there

What usually happens? (LOL I told you I was a virgin!)

Cool

see y'all there.....

Nate, worst case mate, we could take a ride and get you and grah on those dodgy horses for another laff if all the lanes are busy....., I'm up for the ride back (well I guess living in sunny basildon does have it's advantages.

Phil, bring those nice shoes with you again and of course that lethal right arm....

usual meeting place, by Pizza hut on Maccy D's turn off on 127, 6:15pm, Knowlesy, your more than welcome, as anybody else, for a meet up and trek with us ( a regular 3 or 4 ) direclty to HWH, stopping only to consider if it's to be Lasagne again, or something else.......

see you soon, by the way, all Virgins, were the shady lot in the dark corner, hogging tables with mere scraps of food left, looking out a window to check our pride and joys, and to see what the next rumble in the car park brings in.......

Thank goodness ! I'm always coming last, something to do with fuel consumption & keeping it under 3k revs. I'm trying to average 35 mpg ....Why? I don't know but if I do it once I'll feel better about global warming & the like......

Has anyone got neon's, I watched fast & furious the other day & those Hondas looked great with green neons. Perhaps I could do mine & spend serious amounts of time down the seafront before 11pm (mind you) as the old bill block it off then!!

Wink

Knowlesy,

tried cutting down on fuel consumtion myself once.......lol, bring a rope if your that concerned, I'm sure one of us will offer to tow you.... I wonder what the speed record is for a car on tow, not to mention the 0-60, hey make it a rubber band, and we could create a new trend...Bungee Tow....right - stopping that now.

Just one concern, hope the missus can hang on to the new sprog due in the next couple of weeks till after the meet, Imagine that....daddy, why weren't you there when I was born???, sorry darling, was out eating Lasagne, talking about scoobies.... - couldn't do it! (maybe!)

Verylb & Kate, chick, whatever you wish to be called, don't you have to pass the HH on your way to Basildon?, we'll be at the HH by 6:30 (maybe 7 if Knowlesy gets his way!), Let us know if you want us to hang on for you at the Pizza Hut though!

rob
