Hey Peeps
It was no problem to come down from st albans to see you all,a real good group of people turned up.
I am a bit hungry as i missed me Sunday roast,good food?

Hey Graham - what about that trip home eh?!?! 
You TOTALLY blew that Evo away, you made it look like he was going so slow but we both know he wasn't - I was crying with laughter as you both passed me
Then the GT4 that we caught up with again - lol - think his missus must have had a go at him to let us past since he pulled in - probably after he went sideways round the roundabout trying to keep pace with the scoobs
Where did you get to? I slowed right down but didn't see you - trip back along the 281 was great - not much traffic Think we saw/heard you in Guildford by Burger King/Comet/B&Q etc, you went left the same time as I went right I think............
See you thurs - with a bit of luck

December is looming, so I had better post the next Sussex meet!!
As usual meet will be on the 2nd December at Pease Pottage services on the M23.
Meeting up at 12, and moving on to a pub at about 1245 for lunch.
Pub yet to be decided on, so if you know of a good one nearby with a large car park let me know!! Possibly Bolney stage or the Woolpack in Burgess hill. (Sorry lack of enthusiasm due to shafting at work!![img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img])

Hi Iain, I'll be there. As for the choice of pub the Woolpack seemed like a good venue for the October(?) meet and the mixed grill was pretty big... think Maffa should do the double portion if we go there again, lightweight. Hopefully no cyclists 
this time if we do that route. Can't comment on the Bolney Stage not having been there but reaction after the Jap UK car meet there seem to imply its pretty good.
I see the Tolworth Cruisers are thinking of coming down...even more scoobies

We'll be there, hopefully with quick motor again, in bits at present. Oh what joy, found nice big split in big pipe under IC. I have repaired it rather than fork out £107+vat also got a seal gone should get new one tommorow. Wahooo

We cancelled the last meet as most of the regulars were busy.
We can't cancel another!!!
I'm going to Scoobysnacks Crimbo do and I'm out on a late one that night too
Some newbies have expressed an interest in coming along.
So I guess it'll be only the hardcore Scooby nutters then!!!!

where did you hear that maffa?
last i heard they were happy for us to come back, just not on a sunday (as its there busiest day).
Saying that after some scoobs playing in the road were probably not likely to be welcomed that much.

Just heard it on the grape vine whilst I was there. After a few of the guys were ragging their cars up & down the road a local resident called the police & informed the landlord. Apparently he wasn't too impressed!!! Although saying that we are all very sensible when we go to the pub so maybe we could restore some of the Scooby faith.

Its not quite that bad yet, but BA's moving people about and I'm one of them!!!
Though I still have a job at Gatwick, its just not what I want to do and the futures not exactly certain.
So I have volentered for a new computer system project, we'll see how it goes

PS. Frogshole sounds good. How about a christmas drink on a school night later in the month? eg 20th?

Well the welsh rain couldn't stop me so will be there

I think the Woolpack in Burgess hill would be best(again) as the Bolney stage gets quite busy on a Sunday.
We have 15-20 cars coming at present!!!

On behalf of Iain and the rest of us, thanks to all the visitors who came from other scooby lands to attend our meeting today. To Jim especially who displayed awesome talent in finding his way to the pub after being left at the Services.
