Jet Fighters & Subaru meet (Airbourne, Eastbourne 20th August)
www.sussexscoobies.co.uk in conjunction with the 'Beachy Head' pub, are arranging a Subaru meet on Sunday 20th August 2006.
This meet just happens to be on the same day as :
___EASTBOURNE'S____
__AIRBOURNE 2006___
The biggest FREE airshow in the UK returns this year from 17 - 20 August 2006 with four days of action packed flying on Eastbourne seafront.
800,000 are expected to attend and provisional flying displays currently include the RAF Red Arrows, Eurofighter Typhoon and Harrier.

The Plan :
Permission has been granted for an area of grass within the 'Beachy Head' pub grounds to be allocated for Subaru parking.
However, due to the vast amount of public attending to view the Airshow from the Beachy Head cliffs, this area can only policed early in the day. On a 1st come, 1st serve bassis for the Subaru Community.
Therefore it is proposed that any Subaru wishing to attend should arrive at 09:30.
'IF' the main car park fills with public vehicles then 'WE WILL HAVE TO GIVE UP GRASS SPACE TO THEM'.
'IF' however we fill the grass allocated space and the public has not yet filled the main car park 'WE WILL OVERFLOW INTO THE MAIN CAR PARK.
To summarise :

cant wait
strange realy i never go to watch this even though i live in eastbourne,
but its probley down to the fact that the planes scare the **** out of the seaguls, and i do mean littrely, my car gets coverd in crap, the joys of liveing in town!

We have worked out we have enough room for those intending to come along.
Please arrive as close to 9:30 as possible, as we cannot stop the public from using this area if the general car park is full.
The car park is on the western side of the Beachy Head Pub, passed the public pay'n'display and passed the main entrance to the pub.
Please enter the allocated area from the left and be considerate with your parking. See Plan below for propsed layout :
