Finally, its gone. Good bye Ronnies Scoob :O(

Thought I would post this in here because everyone I have met from the southern area of scoobynet has always made me and who ever I bring to meets feel welcome.
My baby has finally departed, took a week to sell (dont let anyone tell you the markets crap for Imports, just make sure you look after yours!) and well the feeling is of emptiness.
My mate drove me back from the dealer that bought it (details will be posted of these guys very soon, they are awesome people) and I sat for 40 miles in total silence. I cleaned her this morning and polished her up one final time, as we left it sat gleaming on a forecourt looking out saying "dont leave me here".
Its weird, you think that it wont actually bother you when you have to do it (in my case because of insurance) and you think "Blimey I was lucky to own one of these for so long". The bit that choked me up was seeing them remove the scoobynet and 22b.com stickers. I have met some very nice people on here. The list is endless, you all know who you are and thanks to Kim and Dom and Mark and Annabel over the last few months for being about to help me have a laugh Its appreciated, more than words can describe.
I have been down the golf course, played 18 holes and had a few beers. The bit I will miss is the social scene the most..my replacement car (A golf gti turbo) has a club that is not as enthusiastic nor intresting as the SIDC and does not have a community of top people that I have met on here and of course on 22b.com (my first intro to the scooby scene, big Thanks to Lee, Anders for your support)
Never again will I laugh at people in boy'd up Novas giving it large with scooby scoops, after all they would just love to taste a little bit of the legacy that is the scooby community.
The last few days with it were great, but its not just a car, its a big part of some peoples social scene....Im so glad I bought one mind, as I got to meet most of you.
Shucks, im gutted.
Love you all
Ronnie

Yo Ronnie
So she's now gone.... I know that you will be back with something bigger and better once the time is right...
In the mean time if you ever want the **** scared out of you, you're always welcome to come on the Clang&Ball with me
Don't forget the next Bedford meet ... maybe they will let you take your Golf on the track after all it has the same engine as that F1 that was there..
See you on Wednesday...
Mark & Annabelle

Hiya Ronnie,
Shame you had to let her go. Not too many 300+...
Still, you get to do it all over again once you get bored with the golf (a week?). buy a timid 240/260hp scoob, and tweak her till she sings like monserrat cabile.
Peter.

Ronnie,
Can share the feeling......I felt sick as a dog when I thought my lovely WRX was written off. It is heart-breaking to almost let go of a Scoob let alone actually do it.
I am thrilled to bits that she can be fixed.
Hope you get a new one soon, don't leave us!!! We still love you!!! As Rebecca says - don't be a stranger.
As soon as L22 is fixed I'll whisk her down to you and take you out for a run
Michelle.

RonaldoH,
I know how you feel, just sold my STI IV to the first person to see it, I feel well gutted, there's a big hole in my life at the moment.
Even my misses and daughter both say they miss it as well, (never thought I'd hear that).
but I'll be back one day.
as they say time heals broken hearts.

AMD is an option Steve, however I think ABT offer the best package. £1500.00 sees a good selection box of new exhaust (straight through) K4 turbo off a 225bhp Audi TT, new ECU and big intercooler.
Guranteed 240bhp and 250lbs of torgue. Not to shabby for a 1.8turbo engine and doors that go "clunk"

Ronnie,
Can't, and don't want to think about how you felt upon leaving your 'baby' but I think we can sympathise with you though.
One thing to remember though, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't have to have scooby to have SIDC membership, so if you still want to retain that membership you can, plus us lot aint going to kick you out of our social circle, just because you now have a lesser car
Oh, and I'm sure you'd be more than welcome at Bentley on 10th June, might even be able to get you in the scooby parking bit
