Quays Meet - 2001-03-11

I was wondering when this thread would be posted up!
This time I'm trying to arrange a scooby onslought from South East Kent so anyone travelling from the A299/M2/M20 areas please get in touch with me direct or on here so we can arrange a convoy! So far looks like there could be a potential ten scoobs from this way though most have to confirm with their misses...that'll be about two then! Despite my efforts to persuade them that the ladies are beginning to enjoy these things, especially when everyone else brings there other halves so they can all gossip about how sad we all are browsing scoobynet everynight and driving too fast around roundabouts etc!!
Anyway, looking forward to it,
Laters

Alex,
Why do you insist on confusing us all by posting the date up the American way?
Us Muppets (and especially Danny F) are easily confused you know

Well since all events are Nito/Chuckster exclusive and Nito's already signed I guess I'll have to miss this one
Nah, hope to be there as always!
Get some cool cars there as I'm in the market for something and can't make up me mind
Cheers

I will be there, in my scoob this time...for once
After all, what else would be do on a sunday? Apart from sunday just gone where I had a blow out on the M1, Pauls missus flipped her BMW (she is ok, thank god) Alex decides on keepin' the P1 and we drive past a stabbing incident (the aftermath) at a local "safe" public house
I think Alex is doing a sunday lunch at his house afterwards This is of course if he has recovered from the battering he is getting at his engagement party from the artist formally known as Alcohol! Wahey, roll on the 3rd of March.

Hey Hey Subaru People....
No worries, I'll be there, looking forward to it, won't bother bringing an R/C though on this one.
I'll be riding with Nito's Possey, to be honest it'll probably just end up being me and him again, but whatever.
Ronnie, was kinda hopeing you'd bring the SLK Brabus again, didn't get to go out in it last time due to female hassel, oh well, such is life.
Look forward to seeing you all there, oh, and Alex, guess what, still waiting for my Wax Wizard Start Up Kit, I've spoaken to Mark on a couple of occasions, so fingers crossed I'll have it before the 11th.
Be cool.
Hayden.

R1, I might be able to bring it if you REALLY want a go in it.
Let me know, drop me an email mate.
Danny, I found some with Ronnie on the soles, but I want spoilers too. So that rules me out

Nice one Ronnie,
Nito of NitoSport has offered to chuck in a couple of runner up bits.
We will sort out the details for the day.
Depending on amount collected we will split it between X number of charities.. I will throw in the money from me being 'spotted' to the total pot.
Reckon we can cover:
Heart disease
RSPCC
Macmillan Fund (cancer)
MIND (Anders, let me know the details mate)
A.n.other
All will be donated on behalf of ScoobyNet, not an individual.
Rgds, Alex

Yup,
2nd prize, a Nitosport Chrome Gearlever Surround/leather gaitor and 3rd Prize a Nitosport Chrome/carbon gearknob.
Not sure about you guys but I would suggest raising the price of the tickets since £1 a ticket will only raise £50 for charity assuming everyone only buys one ticket. How about offering five tickets for a fiver! It's all in the name of charity after all!
Over to the masses!!

Alex/Ronnie,
I'll have a few tickets off you!!
Could we add MS as the other charity. Normally not a big one for charities, but when you see a good friend lose the ability to walk over 9 months.
It makes you think, expecially as he was a biker and a snowboarder!! He didn't want to get married in a wheelchair, but we have to see as thats in May.
Cheers guys, I'll see you there!

Andy T - yes MS it is, can I leave it to you to find contact details for the charity.
Just found out this week, that a colleague at work has got MS, its developing quite fast and I just couldnt believe it. The person in question is one of the nicest people, there is no justice in this world!
Thanks, Alex
