Just to confirm, this is a night of a few pints and food, rather than an after work drink yes????
I will be public transporting from Woking and won't arrive til about 7pm so need to ensure we make a night of it

Would love to come along as I am also based in Barclays Capital...
Unfortunately I can't do Thursdays at the moment. Hopefully I will be able to make the next one.
There... will be a next one... I trust

Hi
would it be alright for a new scoobie driver to come along, alas I'm from NW1 so there may be a language barrier with you boys down south
If so, could someone give directions to the aforementioned watering hole....

I'll be there for at least a couple of hours, but may have to scoot over to the west end for a leaving do....
Directions to the Henry Addington H.A.
Come out of the Jubilee Line into the cold air. Walk towards the water and you'll see All Bar One. Carry on under the DLR track keeping the water on the left. (Try not to fall in so early in the evening). On your right you will see the Cafe Rouge, and then a few yards on the H.A.

Take the Jubilee line direct from Waterloo to Canary Wharf. Then follow the right hand bank of the dock past All bar One and under the DLR line. HA's is on your right.
James.
------------
Anyone know how the hell to get to the HA from Woking???
I presume I take the train from Woking to Waterloo but where do I go from there?
Cheers

Greg,
Ask for the south colonade, canary wharf follow the signs to the Underground, and ask someone is probably the easiest.
I was hoping to watch the footy, but amazingly it is DISCO night in the HA.
I was in there at lunch today, I suggest we loiter as close to the bar at the toilet end of the pub, i.e. the nearest end to the Underground.....(this is not because I am a perv, just that the toilets are a distinguishing feature and the bar is far enough away not to make you look like a perv...)

I am about 16 stone, 6ft, short hair, with Green "Shott-Bouncer" style jacket similar to Ronnies
What time will you all be in the HA til? I wont be able to get there until about 7pm providing I catch the correct trains. I am leaving Woking at about 6pm ish work permitting. Where are we off after just in case I get lost?
How about listing mobiles in case we all cant find each other?

Paul is on 0585 508 681.
We look like we will be there around 8.30-9.00pm. I wont be in my schott jacket now, as we are at a meeting in EC1 somewhere until 8.00 ish

Dave P - I agree on the chips - The steak was bloody good though.
A superb night and it was great to meet you all - next time you are in Lancashire I will take you around the sights of Burnley - whooo
DW
PS Train was delayed until 1:30 am so the journey back up here this morning was a bit tiring to say the least. Not sure what the boss thought about the London Pride breath either
PPS Forgot about the camera - LOL Pure Genius. I would love to get a copy of that picture from whoever it was.

**** DID IT RAIN ON THE WAY HOME
Apart from that, it was great to meet everyone (amazing that all you could hear in that LOUD pub was someone's Northern accent ).
Next time, I'll crash at a friends & start drinking Got to M11/A11 & busting for a pee
Good turnout, shame I missed the food & I never heard the cockrell (tho' I've been told its still alive )
'til the next time
