Guys & Gals,
Well, last meet (14 Jan) attracted quite a crowd, 2 Integra Type Rs, 3 Evo VIs, an original Audi Quattro 2L Turbo and over 30 Imprezas of various flavours...
The only change to the format, is PLEASE BRING YOUR RADIO CONTROL CARS imprezas or otherwise
The website will hopefully be up in the next couple of weeks, with all the pics from the January Meet. Anyhowz, the details & directions are below...
Sunday 11 February 2001
12 noon @ The Quays
Directions:
from M3 Junc 4 (not 4a)
Follow the signs A331 Aldershot/Guildford
Approx 1 mile after joining the A331 take the Mitchet (SP!) turn off, you be able to see a lake to your left as you leave the A331.
At the roundabout at the end of the slip road turn left.
Then about 30-40 yards on take the first right and follow the road until the end, which is the Quays pub. The turning is sign posted Watersports center or words to that effect.
I look forward to seeing you all there again
This time, we must try and get a bigger area to sit in, I might be able to book some tables if I get numbers the week before the meet.. I'll confirm this nearer the time.
All the best, Alex

I/we should be able to make this one...got a Scoob and a Cossie R/C (damn cossies much faster though). Try and get hold of Kevin Tree(?) - used to hang out on scoobynet, has a P1 and an R/C model shop!

Nito throw them a party at the quays, we will liven it up and I am sure Danny Fisher will ruin it! With his levels of debauchery your sure to have a real hoot!
Alex has a car up his sleeve that is rather mad, but ideally we need Harj to attend to this because he actually has an RC car that in value is the same as say half that of a 94 wrx And I kid you not!
Its made by N.A.S.A or something and took one serious engine nutter about 20 mins to get started...Harj drove it for five minutes on some grass and we went whoooo weeeee wooooow like kids as it did dougnuts
and all sorts and then......viiizzzzzz viiiizzzzz vizzzzzzz...nothing.
"Oh" said Harj!, "the clutch has gone", bit of a pain as thats about 150 odd quid!
Blimey, these things are sooooo not cheap. However speaking of cool stuff has anyone seen those radio controlled helicopters for indoors!? They are mad!
RichR and I were at SS today and were looking at them on their computers with web access very and these things look ace.
Anyway, gotta go!
Ps, the hair comment was a joke as I am sporting a new grade 1 again!
Yex....see you there?
<edited cause I need key stage three spelling tests again!>

Ronnie,
Sorry won't be there as the kart racing season starts at Buckmore Park that day
I'll be trying not to damage myself in a lunatic 100cc direct drive idiot machine
I will try to come aong to a few more meets this year as I want to use the car and meet more members of the club before it officially goes up for sale
Hope things are going OK for you, regards to Nat

Hooray.... I think both of my Subaru's will
be ready for this meet!!!
I should have the RC one, but I've had to use some large stickers to hide the damage!!
I guess I just can't drive Subaru's, big or small!!!
