Due to snow, we had to cancel the planned run across the moors on 31st Dec.
Same plan as before, meet at the B&Q just off jctn 25 M5 at Taunton. I'll then dish out some route plans so hopefully we all end up in the same places together(famous last words?)
Could you all e-mail me with mobile numbers so I know how to contact everyone just in case. I'll then e-mail you all with those contact numbers.

Happy new year.

Steve.

Steve,

That's the day after karting, but we should be able to make it.

We should have the scoob back then. Hoooooray.

At last, an Exmoor i can attend. Might have new brakes by then. Bob, get in touch with Tilly's about your brakes. They will measure the mm lost and get back to Prodrive/IM.

What are the plans? When and where to meet and how many are going? Cant wait to see the countryside. All set up with the missus so lets hope for no snow or my excuss is knackered! Big Bear, try and make it. If Cadburys is closed for a while then Keynsham will be a ghost town!!

NOZZER, where are you getting your wheels done??? Will you be using the same anthracite colour as the P1 wheels?? If so, do you know the spec?

Bob, I've mailed Steve to include me in on the Exmoor run.

So far it looks like there shouls be eight of us on the run.

How about if we meet at Gordano services on the M5 9.30am, trundle down to the Taunton B&Q and plan to leave there by 11.00am.
A lunch stop is planned within about an hour. Plus an ice cream down by the coast.

I'm planning on reccying the route again on Sat/Sun.

Had the disks and pads mesured and had the car back in 15 mins. They just said they would give me a ring when the disks and pads come in. Don't know about the wheels as yet.

Sorry Guys,

It looks like we might be minus a scoob again replaced by a polo. Next Mon/Tues they want it back to have another go at respraying the boot, they reckon it'll take a week, cause they have to order new Subaru badges as they won't mask the old ones up.
Dealers are not the fastest in supplying apparently.

Nozzer
Are you coming karting on 27th, Steve is coming and Dave may be, let us know?

Dave/Bob,

Saw a couple of dodgy dudes in Fast car mag, then I recognized the faces.

See ya soon,

Exclamation

I don't want to ring too many alarm bells yet, but I received an email from Steve last night saying that the date for the Exmoor run was the 27th

Can somebody contact Steve (I've emailed him, but he's not responding!) by phone to find out what's going on??

Hi Guys

We might be able to get a babysitter, but I have to call a big favour to do it. Is the drive DEFINATELY on? If so, I'll try it.

Nick,

Thought we'd lost you there for a while.
The drive is definately on, baring any sort of freak weather.
Look forward to seeing you both.

Ian,

Think of all the grit and muck on that brush that Tileys use to wash the cars. Check for scratches.
Wouldn't let 'em near mine with it.

Remember what that useless, unfriendly, unhelpful lot at Atkins Motors did do my car with a pressure washer? Took the paint off!

The only problem I found with Tiley's cleaning is the acidic solution they use on the wheels, it certainly cleans the wheels but I believe it also removes the lacquer from the wheels. It’s a bugger to get the brake dust off after a Tiley's clean.
Nick you never get any luck with that outfit you go to, don’t know why you still go there.
How did you get on with the brakes problem?

Bob

They won't reply to my letters about the brake problems.

Atkis have lost my business. For the next service - I'll use Tileys.
