Hi
My kerbed wheel was actually loads of mud stuck in the alloy which made the whole car shake. Cleaned it out when I found a lit area and the car was fine.....except a broken sidelight and a few minor scratches. Bugger. It was short and sweet but fun!

It wasn't the actual playing in the field which was the trouble - it was the airborne route it took to get into the field in the first place! Suffice to say the front lip spoiler will never be the same again...
I assume the photos are of the damage, and not of the actual off road excursion itself?
Speaking as a first timer - I had a damn good time - thanks for organising it Kris, hope to go on the next one!

Morning all.
Sorry I did not make it on Sunday, was being a lazy sod, plus I had to take the car to the garage, where it stayed for most of the day.
So....
How did the run go?

WELL...... it went very well from my point of view
We had one early bath due to a kerbed wheel and that was it. Except of course for the P1 that got bored on the tarmac and decided to try and plough a very muddy field ( I have photos ).
We had two meetings with the local constabulary who on both occassions were jolly nice and friendly ( saved by the BEL so to speak ! ) and gave us a wave !
We made excellent time and met a couple of supras at Hastings and one very yellow Evo
All done by lunchtime and not a mushy pea in sight !!
Have a good xmas and see you the other side !

Twas a good day, although I got very lost! teach me to forget my map! Thankfully met up with Kris and a completely different group of cars near Camber (deepest darkest Kent!?)..
Hope the P1 gets sorted soon Jason, I know none of us like the the lower front lip clearance wise, but I'm sure you could of unbolted it instead
Next time I see a clear road ahead, long straight, good visibility etc.. I'll be sure not to over take slow moving vans when there is a white car parked half a mile up the road! Hopefully he noticed me slow down once safely ahead of the van back to 60..
Anyway, thanks again to Kris for organising it...
Cheers, Alex

Hmm...
I've never quite worked out the meaning of the word 'schadenfreude', but I don't think it applies here; just that my confidence was a bit damaged to find I was the only one last time to have left the road on a CnB. Wondered if I'd have to retire from the Board in disgrace.
Am now a little relieved to find it's not _just_ me.
However, don't let this be interpreted in any way that I'm happy there was an early bath; Bryan and Philip, I know EXACTLY how you feel, hope both are mended in due course and the enjoyment can continue!
The best to you all (Lordy knows when I'll see you again, I'm off to warmer climes)

Kris. I'll have to see your photos of my P1 after the slight detour! The car is miraculously unmarked apart from the front lip being totally demolished. I've ordered a new one that is supposedly arriving wednesday, that is pretty good service I thought, although it does come at a price. £450.00 + paint and fixings, (good old Prodrive) that will teach me, I reckon the gas discharge spots would have been a good idea though! Still that's a small price to pay for a lot of FUN!!!!!
