Plans are being finalised for the much awaited next Exmoor drive.

We should start at Taunton with a stop for lunch in a little olde tea shoppe.

We will be driving in small groups of 4 to 5 cars with various speeds catered for. Some non scoobs are planning to come along as well.

Bob, Nick, Dave, Ian and Me ? Plus two possible fwd cars(depends I think, on if it's raining??) plus hopefully some lads from Wales
The route is almost finalised - Bob did the recce, thanks Bob.
Start time at B&Q also to be finalised but will be around 10am I expect.

Definate problem. My flight is now 15.15 on sunday at Gatwick and not 22.55 monday evening so im afraid i have to cry out at the last minute. Damn shame as was looking forward to a BIG petrol bill keeping up with a certain person!!

We've decided to cancel the run across Exmoor on the 12th and rearrange for the 26th.

Who is up for the now legendary trip across the moors. You will not be disapionted with these roads.
There is NO pressure to drive above what you feel comfortable with. Directions, meet places will be given out at the start.
We've inadvertently rearranged this for when the Rally of GB is on so need to judge if we have enough participants to make this worthwhile (5 or 6 min I think).

Went by myself the other week, reccied it the week before. Looks like its just Steve Ron and Me this time. Oh the loneliness of the long distance runner.

 

As Bob says, the route is planned over a good mixture of roads, but Due to the lack of interest I feel there is no alternative but to postpone this until a latter date.
A few of the SW regulars are engaged that this weekend.
